Tambora Flats Renovation Immediately Completed

Tambora low-cost flats (Rusunawa) residents start to feel not at home in their rent house because of the minimum facility. Due to the condition, the contractor of Rusunawa Tambora is asked to complete the renovation process on time.

We guarantee to finish it at the end of this year. Now we have reached 98 percent

The flats renovation on Jalan Angke Raya, Tambora, West Jakarta started in November 2013. Since renovated, hundred of citizens move and rent house around the Tambora Flats area.

"We wish the renovation process run on time. Because according to the plans, at the end of this year we can move to the flat again," said Nurmaya (37), one of Blok D occupants, Friday (12/5).

42 Rusunawa Flats Sealed

Nurmaya admitted, since live in the rent house, her daily expenses hike drastically. While his husband income just enough for standard expenses. "To rent this small house, we need to pay Rp 3,5 million per year. While we also need to pay the electricity, water and other needs," she said.

Tambora Flats project manager, Folmer explained, the renovation has reached 98 percent and will be given to Jakarta Housing and Building Department on December 15.

"We understand the citizen complaints. We guarantee to finish it at the end of this year. Now we have reached 98 percent," explained Folmer.

Folmer mentioned, the renovation runs for 3 blocks with 16 level as many as 549 units.
